Jonäno is looking for interns!
If you are a Junior or Senior in college and are looking for some real world experience, Jonäno offers internships in various departments throughout the year. If you're interested in learning more about the organic apparel business then Jonäno is the best place to do your internship.
Jonäno has a college-credit-based internship program. You must be able to show that you are receiving school credit for your work in order to qualify. To be considered please submit your cover letter and resume. Please specify which department(s) you are interested in and what dates you would be available to intern. (Sorry, we do not provide living assistance.)
Here’s just a brief description of what we are looking for:
Apparel Design Interns will learn how we choose styles and colors for each season and how we research trends. Learn about creating lineart, lookbooks, and designing. Design major preferred. Knowledge of programs such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop a must.
Web Design Interns will be exposed to resizing images, basic HTML and
Graphic Design Interns will learn how we present fashion from the graphic perspective. Learn about color & catalog design, lookbooks, and creating lineart. Graphic Design majors preferred. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Creative Writing Interns will learn how we present fashion from the written perspective. Learn how we write product descriptions, press releases, blog entries and create press kits. Writing and Marketing majors preferred. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, InDesign and Photoshop.
Merchandising-Interns will learn the process of merchandising step-by-step from initial sku plan and design to completion of samples. Work closely with all levels of staff in multiple departments. Merchandising majors preferred. Must have strong computer skills, especially Excel.
Marketing-Interns will gain knowledge of the different ways of marketing. Learn about marketing photos, layouts, and other media. Help with market research, logging and tracking inventory, and scanning and sizing photos. Marketing majors preferred.
Full-time/Part-time Part-time internships; telecommuting options available.
