Sustainable business & manufacturing reduces negative environmental impact and minimizes the use of our Earth’s natural resources. At Jonäno we create long-wearing clothes that are timeless in design.
Since 2005, Jonäno’s production and design team has been traveling extensively throughout the USA, Central and South America and Asia searching out the best farms, mills and factories to create our Collections. At Jonäno we insist on adherence to ISO standards with all of our manufacturers, and our regular factory visits ensure compliance. We have been producing our ecoKashmere® in the USA and Asia in strict accordance to these standards and insist that Fair Labor practices be followed by all of our work partners. Created using farm-grown resources, our fabrics are spun, then dyed using low impact dyes. We also choose to print our mailings, hangtags and other promotionals on recycled paper.
We always try to influence more suppliers to manufacture in an environmentally friendly manner and to treat their staff well and equip their premises with all the necessary safety precautions. Jonäno is vertically integrated from farm to finished goods— Clean business is good business!
